Summary
Vellafolio's tools process your documents on your own device. We do not receive, store or see your files. We collect very little personal information, we do not sell it, we do not show advertising, and we never use your documents to train artificial intelligence.
Who we are
Vellafolio is operated by Rumbidzai Matikiti, ABN 55 939 576 005, Western Australia, Australia ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Contact: privacy@vellafolio.com.
Your documents
Files you open in Vellafolio are read and processed by your web browser on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers. When you close the page, they are gone from Vellafolio; any file you download stays on your device under your control.
Information we collect
- Usage counter on your device. Your browser stores how many free tasks you have used today, so the daily limit works. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. We do not use this to identify you.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message to reply and to improve Vellafolio. We delete support emails after 24 months unless we need them longer for a legal reason.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Vellafolio does not set cookies for the free tools.
How we use and disclose information
We use the information above only to run, secure and support Vellafolio. We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only to service providers who help us run Vellafolio (for example, website hosting and email), or where the law requires it.
Overseas service providers
Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) delivers the website through data centres worldwide, including in Australia. Our email provider may store messages outside Australia. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, with strict security settings that block third-party scripts. Because your documents stay on your device, there is no copy of them on our servers to be exposed.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@vellafolio.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, you also have rights to object to or restrict processing and to data portability; we rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure service, and on your consent where we ask for it.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or to your local data protection authority.
Children
Vellafolio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Future features
We plan to offer optional accounts, private document storage and paid plans. We will update this policy, and explain clearly what is stored and where, before any of these launch.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes, we will also show a notice on the website.
